Key Information

Rickleton Primary School is a co-educational county primary day school for boys and girls of all abilities from 4 to 11 years of age. The school also has a nursery unit for children from 3 to 4 years of age. Rickleton Primary School is not affiliated to any particular religious denomination.

The design of the building is semi-open plan, comprising four teaching areas, the nursery unit, school hall and kitchen and the administrative area. There is also a learning resource centre, music room and kitchen for pupils.

The school has pleasant grounds comprising a football field, two playgrounds, a grassed area with flower beds and a shrubbery.

There is a community annex attached to the school from which the Community Association run both daytime and evening activities. There is a playgroup held four days a week and an after-school club from 3.15-6.00pm Monday to Friday and a Holiday Plan Scheme (Please contact us for details). The school has use of the annex when it is not timetabled for activities.
