Welcome to Year 1 website page.  Here you will be able to find out what we are learning about as well as see regular updates of us engaging in and enjoying our work.

During the Autumn term, the topics the children will be learning are Fire Fire and Materials. The class books which we will be reading are The Three Little Pigs and Meerkat Mail. We will be linking as much of our learning as possible together.  In science the children will be exploring and naming materials and naming, describing and comparing a variety of common animals such as amphibians, reptiles and mammals.

During the Autumn term we will be going on an exciting trip to the farm and to the theatre. PE will be on a Tuesday and Thursday so please make sure that a suitable PE kit is in school.
