At Rickleton, we use 'Zones of Regulation' to help children articulate and manage their emotions. Zones displays are in all classrooms and other areas of school. Staff have been trained to support children to use the colours of the zones to help them share how they feel and understand their actions. 

Each class are aware of a range of vocabulary linked to each zones and action which support them when they are struggling to stay regulated.
