The children learnt about what life was like for miners in the past, discovered the story behind the mining banner displayed in our school hall and even enjoyed singing some traditional mining songs together. They listened beautifully, asked lots of thoughtful questions and were fascinated by the stories Bill shared. A huge thank you to Bill for giving up his time to visit us and for making the morning so memorable. 😊
