These children consistently read 4 or more times each week throughout the entire summer term and were lucky winners in our raffle. They have each received a bag of brilliant books to enjoy over the holidays. We hope you discover some amazing new stories!

We would also like to celebrate our Readers of the Year. Chosen by their teachers, these children have shown an outstanding attitude towards reading all year. Whether they have developed a real love of reading for pleasure, made fantastic progress, shown unwavering commitment, or inspired others with their enthusiasm for books, they truly deserve this special recognition.

As part of their award, our Readers of the Year will be enjoying an exciting trip to Waterstones at the Metrocentre, where they will have the opportunity to choose a brand-new book to keep as their prize.

Reading for pleasure opens the door to imagination, adventure and lifelong learning, and we are incredibly proud of every child who has embraced reading this year.
