Our adventure began when a bottle washed ashore containing a letter from Captain Blackbeard inviting us to become Pirate Explorers and help him find his missing treasure. Throughout the day, we immersed ourselves in pirate life through a range of exciting experiences including having pirate photographs taken, making pirate hats and eye patches, completing an obstacle course, following treasure hunt clues, listening to pirate stories and creating messages in a bottle. We had great fun solving the challenges and training to become real Pirate Explorers! We finished the day by discovering Captain Blackbeard's treasure chest and were very excited to explore the treasure hidden inside, including a brand new story which will inspire our learning and writing this half term..
