  We would like to welcome our children and staff back to school after the half term break.  We look forward to many exciting events and great learning opportunities over the next few weeks.

• Digital Parenting Magazine

  Look out for the Digital Parenting magazine coming home tonight with your child.  It is an excellent magazine about keeping children safe in a digital world.  It includes advice from teachers, parents and online safety experts on subjects ranging from Virtual Reality, to body image in the social media age, to live streaming. It has tips from online safety experts, parents and children and young people themselves.

  In addition to this, there is an updated guide to setting parental controls on apps and devices, and information on gaming and keeping kids safe while they play.

• Harvest Festival

  Thank you to all our of wonderful children and families for your very generous food donations for our Harvest Festival.  This year we are donating to Wearside Women. 

  Thank you also to Andrew and the House of Destiny for welcoming us for our service this year.  The children thoroughly enjoying singing their songs and performing their learning to spell out the word HARVEST.

• Scholastic Book Fair Success!

  Thank you to everyone who supported the Scholastic Book Fair this week.  We are delighted that we raised £1654.80! Part of this will help us to buy more wonderful books for our children to enjoy!

• FORPS Quiz Night!

  Thank you to everyone who came and supported the FORPS quiz on Friday.  It was a fantastic night which was thoroughly enjoyed by all! We look forward to more parent events in the near future!

• Rickleton in the news!
