What's happening in school?

  • June Collaborative Learning Week

    Tue 16 May 2023

Our next collaborative learning week will take place after half term (wb 5th June). Following the coronation, the theme across school will be 'Celebrations'. Each year group will learn more about a range of multi-cultural and multi-faith celebrations. See attached image.

A big part of the success of collaborative weeks is always the support parents can offer to these themes so that our children find out more about the heritage of families and friends of the Rickleton community. If any parents/grandparents/friends etc felt able to offer support for any of the topics shown in the attached image, whether this be by sharing resources or coming in to talk to children, please contact the school office so a member of staff can contact you to discuss.

  • FORPS Summer Raffle

    Tue 16 May 2023

FORPS are busy securing some fantastic raffle prizes for the summer fair - there are some brilliant ones already!

If you, or anyone you know, would be interested in donating a prize that would be much appreciated!

In addition, we are able to provide spaces for external stall at the fair (Fri 30th June) if you, or someone else, are interested.

If you would like to kindly donate a raffle prize, or find out more about having a stall, please contact the school office.

    Thank you

  • School Garden!

    Tue 09 May 2023

Staff from Gentoo popped in to our garden this week to drop off some new gardening equipment they had provided a grant for. Our community garden is looking lovely and will allow our children to use the garden for some great learning and wellbeing activities over the coming spring and summer weeks. Thanks to our dedicated volunteers who give up some of their days and evenings to tend to the garden. If you know anyone interested in offering their time to support the community garden, please contact the school office.
