  In light of the sad news about the death of Her Majesty the Queen, all at Rickleton Primary School extend their condolences.
  
  It is the end of an very long era and one we will ensure is remembered fondly for our children now, and in forthcoming years.
  
  The school will paying our respects during this period of National Mourning and will ensure the children are fully supported during this difficult time. 

• School and Eco Councillors

  The children have enjoyed going to vote for this years school and eco councillors.
  
  Earlier this week, those who wanted to be considered shared with their class why they wanted to win and why they should be voted for.
  
  Today, all children have visited the polling station and the winning councillors will be announced in Monday’s assembly.
  
  We are pleased to be able to support the children’s understanding of democracy by re-creating the election process in school.
