Parent author visit
Wed 13 Mar 2024
On World Book Day, we have had a fantastic day celebrating our love of reading and linked to our 'Aspirational Concepts', considering possible future professions. We had a visit from local author and illustrator (and parent), Stacey Bone. She inspired the children by taking them on a journey from when she started out as an artist to how she developed her own story. She shared an extract of her new story with the children and left them wondering what would happen next! The children then helped to create a cover for her book and develop a character.
