What's happening in school?

• Well done to our swim teams!

  Congratulations all three swim teams who each progressed to their respective finals.  The boys first team won the free style and medley finals and the girls narrowly missed out on medals, coming 4th in their free style races. Well done to everyone who took part!

  Thank you to Rock Steady for a fantastic assembly where the children got to explore and listen to different instruments! Some of the teachers even created a band!

• RNLI Water Safety

  Thank you to the staff of the RNLI who spent the day in school delivering water safety workshops with all KS1 and 2 pupils. They discussed the important messages on staying safe near rivers and at the beach, thought about life saving techniques and introduced pupils to the idea of cold water shock. 

  

• Food Project Thanks

  Following the amazing generosity of our school community and the work of the school council to buy and deliver food donations to the Washington Community Food Project, we have received the attached letter of thanks describing the difference our actions have made in the local community.

• Futsal County Finals

  Congratulations to the players on the school's Futsal team who came runners up in the Futsal County finals last night.  They played Hill View in the final and were narrowly beaten 3-2.  Well done to everyone who played for showing excellent team work and a great attitude!
