What's happening in school?

• Girl's Football Success!

  Congratulation to our Girls' football team who tonight beat 12 other Washington Schools to be crowned Cup winners.

   

  They will now progress to a county final next month to compete to be the best school team in County Durham. Superb ability and superb attitude. Well done girls!

  

• Remembrance Day

  Today we held a whole school assembly for Remembrance Day. We thought about and gave thanks to those who have served our country and continue to do so.
  
  We also thought about those who helped protect us during the pandemic.
  
  To mark the start and end of the minute silence, Mr Chinery played ‘The Last Post’.
