Our Reception children visited the aquarium in Tynemouth. The children thoroughly enjoyed exploring the aquarium and seeing their learning come to life. They took part in a workshop called ‘Rockpool Encounters’, where they learned about animals that live in rockpools, and they got to touch them carefully. The children also had the chance to watch the Seals put on a show. They wandered through the aquarium and saw lots of fish, sting rays, turtles and sharks, as well as lots of other creatures! They also enjoyed playing in the play park in the sunshine!
