I am delighted to inform you that Rickleton Primary School has officially been award the DfE's 'Heritage Schools Award'!

This award recognises the exceptional work which goes into ensuring our pupils learn about their local heritage and the history of our local area, which underpins our history curriculum. It has been clearly identified that our children take pride in where they live and understand the importance of how our area has changed over time.

I would like to express huge thanks to Mrs Banks who is the driving force behind our excellent history curriculum. Her passion to ensure our children know where are are from and be proud of this is admirable.
